What does the term “age gracefully” mean to you? For me, there are a couple of explanations that spring to mind. Firstly, an image of a lady of a certain age in twin set and pearls, sipping a cup of tea (in a cup and saucer) and fulfilling societal expectations (imagine the Queen in The Crown).

What does feeling confident actually look like?
We hear a lot of talk about confidence, increasing our confidence, boosting our confidence but what does that actually mean? The dictionary defines confident as “feeling or showing confidence in oneself or one's abilities or qualities” and as “feeling or showing certainty about something.”
Is finding your life's purpose important in today's world?
Sometimes I feel the phrase life purpose can be quite an intimidating phrase – as though we need to find “the” purpose, the one and only purpose for our whole lives. It can apply a pressure that doesn’t need to be there.
In a Year from Now
It’s January 2022 and where do you want to be – other than out of lockdown, obviously? It would be so easy (and understandable) at the moment to feel like life is on hold. To feel that there’s not a lot of point in planning, setting goals, making changes you want in life.
Why Choose a Word for The Year
This is something I’ve adopted over the last few years. Adopting the phrase "say yes be brave" as a mantra really worked for me. It would pop into my head when presented with opportunities and helped transform my default answer from ”no” to “yes”.
